The waterfront is famed for its heritage and culture, from iconic listed buildings to marine attractions, it’s clear to see why most of the area has been honoured with UNESCO world heritage status. Liverpool is the only city in the UK to be awarded with the UNESCO city of music title and is one of few cities in the world to be honoured with such varied UNESCO statuses.
There’s over 294,000 businesses in the city region, in 2015 the city was the UK’s fastest growing digital cluster – ahead of Manchester and London. There is growth across all sectors, Liverpool is at the centre of the UK’s second largest regional economy.
