Liverpool City Placed Third In Traveller's Choice Awards 2019
Liverpool has once again been recognised in TripAdvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Awards.
Liverpool came third in the top 10, with London on top and Edinburgh second.Glasgow, Belfast, Bath, Isle of Wight, York, Manchester and Jersey were all behind Liverpool in the ranking.Chris Brown, Director of Marketing Liverpool, said: "These awards are particularly important to us, because they are the result of millions of reviews across our entire offer – hotels, restaurants, attractions and experiences."It's not something that can be influenced by glitzy advertising campaigns but rather reflects the authentic experience people have here whether they’re domestic or international visitors."With that in mind, it’s a phenomenal achievement to again keep our third spot, only behind the two great capital cities of London and Edinburgh."Award winners are determined by using an algorithm based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for hotels, restaurants and attractions throughout the Uk and Channel Island's, gathered over a 12-month period, as well as traveler booking interest on TripAdvisor.
