A further potential update on Everton's planning application for their new stadium at Bramley-Moore dock has been revealed. The project for the Blues' ground has been developing rapidly over the last few months especially, with the first stage of public consultation having been a massive success. That has paved the way for the second step of consultation to go ahead this summer, which will include designs from architect Dan Meis on how the proposed stadium may look. Both of those stages will play a crucial role in planning application for the site, which Everton have maintained up until this point would be submitted before the end of the year. However, speaking at at the Mipim property convention in Cannes on Wednesday, Darran Lawless from Peel Land and Property revealed that he hopes the Blues could submit their application as soon as September.Earlier in the convention , Everton CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale said that the new arena would be an intimidating place to watch football. She added: "It will sit beautifully as the Fourth Grace on Liverpool’s waterfront."The Blues CEO expressed the club was more confident than ever of securing funding for the project, but did not reveal who Everton were talking to in regard to that.
