Paul McCartney and James Corden take a trip down Penny Lane

Carpool Karaoke came to Liverpool as James Corden spent a special day filming with Paul McCartney for The Late Late Show, where they took a trip down memory lane as well Penny Lane.  They spent the city exploring where Paul grew up and where the story of the "fab four" started.Paul showed James his childhood home, which is now a National Trust Tourist attraction, where he wrote music with John Lennon.  Then then jumped in the car to sing a few of Paul's biggest hits whilst they headed to Liverpool's Waterfront which is also home to the Beatles statues.Driving around Liverpool, they sung Beatles classics such as "Drive My Car" and "Let it Be" and Paul even performed in the local, but legendary, Philharmonic Pub to some rather surprised fans.An unforgettable day for the locals and if you missed the episode then you can watch it below.[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjvzCTqkBDQ[/embed]
