Gran Caffè to Open Fourth Liverpool Location at Park Central

Liverpool’s thriving coffee scene is about to get even better! Gran Caffè, a beloved family-run Italian coffee shop, is set to open its fourth location in the city, bringing its authentic Italian flavors and warm atmosphere to Jesse Hartley Way, Park Central, in January 2025. This exciting launch marks yet another step in the café's rapid expansion, with the new venue coming just months after openings in Duke Street and Lark Lane.

Gran Caffè, owned by brothers Paolo and Donato Cillo, has been a staple in Liverpool since it first opened over a decade ago in Williamson Square, part of the Italian Quarter. Known for its cozy atmosphere and mouthwatering Italian delicacies, the café has grown into a beloved local favorite. The new Park Central location will serve the same renowned offerings, including freshly baked pastries, Italian small and large plates, and, of course, expertly crafted coffee from their family’s roastery, Torrefazione Lucana in Potenza.

The Cillo brothers are passionate about sharing their Italian heritage with the city they’ve called home for the past 20 years. Donato Cillo shared, "Opening Gran Caffè was a chance for us to bring a taste of Italy to Liverpool, and we’re thrilled to expand to Park Central. Our customers love our authentic dishes and warm, family-like atmosphere, and we can’t wait to share that experience with even more people in the city."

With ingredients sourced from their sister’s local deli, A Tavola da Maria Delicatessen, and their ever-popular bakery and gelato making a return, the newest Gran Caffè is sure to become a community favourite in Liverpool’s Park Central waterfront area.

Paolo Cillo added, "The last year has been a whirlwind of growth for us, and we’re excited to continue expanding our reach in Liverpool. The Park Central location feels like the perfect next step, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new faces and regulars alike."

Be sure to mark your calendars for January 2025, when Gran Caffè officially opens its doors at Park Central, bringing the irresistible flavours of Italy even closer to Liverpool’s waterfront community.
